Bio:

James P. Flanningham was born in Westchester, New York in 1845. He came out west to Nevada in the early 1870's and was a local business man dealing in Wines & Spirits. He was also a ranking member of the local Mansonic Lodge. He died Sept.3rd 1889 of a accidental drug/medicine over dose at age 44. He was laid to rest in the Masonic Section of the Virginia City Cemetery.
